Built on one standard: get the call right
GTCR Officiating & Consulting was founded by Omar Brooks, Marvin Dyson & Greg Rooks to bring dependable, professional basketball officiating to leagues and events — and to develop the officials, coaches, and athletes who make the game better.

Experience on the floor. A coach’s eye off it.
GTCR grew out of years spent between the lines — working for other assignors and noticing, night after night, that the standard wasn’t being met or upheld. We knew we could provide a better quality of service, so GTCR was formed.
Today we do two things at once: we supply leagues and tournaments with officials they can count on, and we train the next generation of refs while consulting for coaches, programs, and athletes who want to understand the game at a higher level.
Whichever side of the whistle you’re on, our promise is the same — we’re here to get the call right.
Tournaments we’ve covered
We’ve covered and assisted with covering some of the biggest tournaments in the region: Big Time Hoops, Made Hoops, Select Events, Hoop Group, AGame, Premier 1, Love Day Hoops, and Premier Basketball Group — across New Jersey, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Baltimore, Maryland and DC, Virginia, and Virginia Beach.
GTCR is currently the exclusive assignor for Big Time Hoops and Premier Basketball Group throughout the Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, DC, and Virginia region.

The standards behind every whistle
Accountability
Every official shows up properly dressed and looking the part of a true official — prepared, professional, and owning the standard on the floor. No excuses, no shortcuts.
Development
We invest in officials, coaches, and athletes so the whole game gets better, not just one night.
Integrity
Fair, consistent, and impartial. Getting the call right is a discipline, and we hold to it.
Game Management
Great officiating is more than whistles — it’s communication, control, and keeping the game flowing.
